That looks lovely...I just don't get felted soaps yet. I have seen them a few times and just thought...why? I like your reasoning on your listing though...that helps me see the benefits a bit more. Perhaps I should try some before I pass judgement!

I've got one which I made with some soap that sally sent me and it's lovely. I've been trying to wean myself off the nylon scrubby things and I think these are a good replacement.

Not that I'm suggesting felted soaps won't do the trick, but you can knit up sisal string into a great scrubby mitt - and compost it when it goes a bit icky. In fact, you could probably do a similar thing to to the soap with it. I keep meaning to do some pan scrubs as well.

I've done felted soap with home made soap, it worked really well but be careful what cloloured rovings you use for felting, daughter 2 got a bluey coloured one, went for a shower and the dye ran and turned her skin blue!

Another point, the soap lasts much much longer when felted. Very Happy

I`ve made very simple versions of these over the years using my bog standard unscented supermarket soap and roving scraps. Easier for kids to use...though not so great when they come in covered in garden mud!

I really like the colours that you`ve used here though...very pretty. Nice to put into a little gift basket with a hand knitted facecloth. I hope they sell well for you.

Thank you Smile

I made some with alpaca yesterday and they're really 'scrubby' - nice colours as well. I'm going to try some with mohair curls on today.

Good point about the colours kathy - none have run yet but I've ordered some blues - I'll keep an eye on it.

I like these.
What a good idea to offer kits as well.
