Hi can anyone tell me if the prelude spinning wheel is good for a beginner any help will be great.

The Prelude was the first wheel I ever tried, and I found it easy to use. It's basic in its adjustments, IMO, and seemed quite easy to control with the treadle. I did have to start the wheel moving clockwise with a hand, however, which wasn't a big deal. The price is certainly good.
