Decided to go to the Moondance Wools Bazaar today I bought myself a Louet bottom whorl drop spindle as I seem to get on better with a bottom whorl spindle than I do with a top one I also treated myself to a pair of carders, the new Ashford book of Carding and 400g Ashford fibres in a bright yellow (cheesecake?), lime, raspberry? and nutmeg
So I'm a happy bunny tonight
The book shows how to card different colours together and the effects that can be achieved there's also 4 projects, a gull-wing shawl, merino mittens, self-striping socks and a merino and silk scarf |
