the dropped spindle

is anybody going to the knitting and stitching show next weekend. I am going on Friday and am really looking forward to it, I recieved my who's there book the other day and there are some great sellers going, now just to decide what I need to buy, lol

Hi I'm new here and to spinning.

I live in Harrogate and have been to the show every year to get knitting stuff.

This year I'd like to go to get my first stash for spinning - but I'm going away for the weekend so can only spare a couple of hours first thing on Friday - my question is...........

Are there good stallholders there for me to get my fist spindle etc.

there should be uppingham yarns are there and they sell some great fibre, there are also about 5 other spinning stands that I can find so far.

I'd love to go but it's a bit far Confused

but I've decided that I'll definately be going to Woolfest 2007 Very Happy

so I'm hoping to meet up with fellow spinners, knitters etc Very Happy

Yes I'm going with a couple of friends - I can't wait! I've only missed one year in the last twelve or so and that was when I had my daughter. I get so excited at this time of year and it always makes me laugh when I say where I'm going and usually get the reply "Are you joking?" or "Well you need to get out more". Anyway I don't care, I can't wait.
