What kind of loom? What kind of loom do you have?
I have just been reading about weaving sticks. Does anyone know how these work?

I've got a large ashford rigid heddle. I can't quite get into it as there's too many straight lines to look at when it's warpeed up but I fully intend to make some rugs etc on it this winter

I had a Dryad 4 shaft loom which I've now sold on as I'm saving for something better (not sure what yet).
I also have an Inklette loom which I really enjoy using. I've made, bag straps, headbands, guitar strap, dog lead, wrist band and a frondy scarf so far.
I'm hoping to get more into weaving this winter as I really enjoy it.

I'll sort out pics this week. I'll also warp the loom up and start a bit of weaving on it, post the pics of that too.

Does this count, I have a peg loom hiding in the back of the cupboard that I've never used. I really must get the instruction book out and have a go.

A peg loom counts, definitely.
I have never used one. When my guild had its open day last month, there was a member demonstrating peg looms, but I didn't get a chance to look at them because I was too busy teaching people to use a hand spindle.
How big is it?

I'm not sure exact size n, it's about 1m long. I'll have to get it out of the cupboard and take another look at it I think.

I am using an old unused frame for picture hanging.
If you take off the back and the hooks, it works nicely,
looming up is easier when you cross through the opening, then the threads stay together better.
For tapestry and picture weaving it's the easiest and most satisfying option for smaller projects.
Haven't done any cloth weaving, yet, though.
If I can find a picture, I will amend this post, so you know what I am talking about.

I favour a warp weighted loom myself, but I also have a dinky rigid heddle loom based on some archaeological examples that occasionally gets used for weaving ribbons. I do a bit of tablet weaving too, but don't have a proper loom, I just use chair legs
