Why do people always recognise me? Can't sneak in anywhere.
I'd better come clean and confess I know damn all about spinning, dyeing, combing, carding, looming, weaving, sheep rearing, and anything else before the knitting bit!
I'd really like to learn though (it's all Sally's fault!)

Ooooh, hello, it is lovely to see you here.
If you can borrow a drop spindle, I can send you some fleece to play with, if that's any help .
What are you knitting at the moment?

Do you really think so? I thought I'd blend right in
Thanks for the offer of fleece, natalie, but I've actually got some, awaiting attention. I just have to get fired from a pesky full time job, and I'll be right on it (planning on it in the next couple of weeks) As soon as I do I plan to give equal priority to finishing the unfinished, and housework!
I'm knitting pink wrap-over cardigan, out of hand plied (but not spun, I don't think) alpaca, cashmere and silk. It's lovely, but I've still got half the back and two sleeves to do.
