Spinning/weaving group starting in south LincsI live in south Lincolnshire and would like to start an informal spinning/weaving/knitting group where we can meet in each others homes and have a good old natter and spin or knit. Is there anyone out there who would be interested? I used to belong to such a group before I moved up here and made some lovely friends and learned lots of new skills as well.

I would have loved to come to this but I am just too far away in Hull. I don't drive so it makes it really difficult.
If you are ever in Hull, I would be interested in meeting up and have a spin n chat!

Oh, what a pity! Thanks for your offer and maybe we can get together some time. Like most people, I do lead a pretty busy life and we have lots of animals so I can't get away too far from home that often. I started spinning with a local Guild and that lead me to keeping Shetland sheep which lead to owning a smallholding. Now I struggle to find time to spin but when the clocks go back (or forward, I can never get it right!) I make it a priority and love spinning in front of the fire. It can be a pretty lonely life when you move to a different area and have little time to go out but at least we have the dropped spindle forum!!!
