Slow cooker dyeingI found this while I was looking for info on dying in an oven.http://www.fibernation.com/inside_the_pot/ The answer to oven dying seems to be the same a microwave dyeing, it will work but you need to have an oven you don't use for food!!! I do, however have a redundant slow cooker in the attic. (I also have a microwave up there, but that's being saved for when the eldest gets his first bed-sit, along with boxes of mugs and plates etc.) So this is a possibility for dyeing if the stove top method doesn't prove successful. natalie |
