Rare breed topsI'm looking for a supplier of rare breed fleeces but not the raw fleece, tops if possible. I'd like to experiment with different ones but haven't the time to prepare them myself - does anyone know a small breeder who could help?

What kind of quantities? I recntly had a very interesting package from forest fibres on ebay, she does all sorts of different things. I think twistfibre craft do lots of tops, and of course, there is always wonderwool......
I'll post some links later on.

Thanks, womble (or welly - whichever you prefer) I'll have a look at those, the type of thing that appears at Wonderwool is exactly what I was thinking of but I can't get there this weekend and Woolfest is a bit too late for me.
Maybe if anyone who's going see anything interesting you could pass it on. Going to cry now cos I can't go. Snot fair!

A company called Moral Fibre might be worth tracking down, I had some lovely stuff from them last year all uber ethical as well.

Lots of interesting things. Stacey had some lovely stuff (the pink alpaca and silk has been rehomed! ) I was positively restrained though (honest!)
Now, links to make up for missing wonderwool....... Places where in the past I have not been quite so restrained......

Should lighten your purse a little. Especially forest fibres, who has everything from alpaca to yak! Craftynotions are superquick and very helpful, as are twistfibrecraft, who have lovely wools in lovely colours. Enjoy!
