My first skein of handspun!!!First I split my single ply onto 2 drop spindles
[img]
Then I place them onto my hi-tech lazy kate

When I had plyed it I wound it into a skein

Once I had washed and dried it to set the twist....Voila:

It is an undyed suffolk fleece which I bought raw and washed and carded myself. It has produced a 2 ply aran weight, but I hope to learn to spin a finer yarn with my drop spindle next time.
