Knit and Stitch Show

Went on Thursday, not too bad by train from here, it took a good 3 hours, left my place at 5.50 and was in the NEC 9.15 so sat having a coffee watching the world go by before going in at 10am. Dident do much damage to my purse - unusual! but did buy some huge knitting needles from Wool-n-Boat lady, I love her spinning, weaving etc such fun and my grandchildren love different things.
Had a go on the babylock embellisher and bought Myfanwy Hart's new book.
The graduate showcases were wonderful, one young student in particualar took my attention Alison Gibson she works with Dyed Hanmade Felt with Textured Aluminium fantastic!!
Met Claire and her husband, it was great to meet them both "waving at Claire" All in all a good day out but I must be getting old I was so tired I had a lovely long soak in the bath, large Brandy and bed for 9pm.
Jenny in North Wales.

I was really looking forward to seeing it at Ally Pally but I'm doing the Celtic Challenge on the 13th and a show on the 14th. I'm very miserable about it Sad

That will be great! My mum does the back-to-back every year and it's a great day. I'm determined to go to Ally Pally or I might pop down. Maybe next year Smile
