Hello from Harrogatehello everyone.
As i have just joined i thought i'd better introduce myself. I am a felter who also knits, dyes and weaves. I would proberbly spin as well if i had room for a spinning wheel. I seem to collect equipment!! i have a table top loom, an inkle loom, a tapestry loom and recently aquired a peg loom at the woolfest ( most of these are gathering dust i'm afraid to say). i am a stay at home mum, so set up an ebay shop selling felting and silk paper making equipment to earn a bit of extra money. i am now working on my website which is almost ready to go live. very exciting!!! Anyway, I must go and have breakfast!
bye for now,
Beth

Hi Beth.
Great to see you here, really nice to have more felters around.
You have loads of interesting stuff on your ebay site. I have been reading the message boards on ebay and so many people seem to be thinking on going it alone after they changed the rules for shops. I this why you decided to make the change?
I'm mid website design myself, well, not personally, Leonie is doing it for me.

It was always the plan to sell craft supplies on ebay, and things i've made from the website. however, the ebay and paypal fees are quite alot when you are selling small things like i am, so i am now hoping to do everything from my website, eventually!

Hi Beth, Nice to meet another felter, had a peep at your blog, it makes so much difference to the colours when carded on the drum carder, this how I blended fibre for a Jacket I felted.
Chat soon.
