Finding my wayHi all
I have just bought a drop spindle from someone on another forum and i have absolutley no idea where to begin!
Never too late to learn a new skill , right?

You never stop learning things! If you PM Sally, she sells a booklet about how to use a drop spindle, or I think there are various resources on the web. I'm completly new to spinning too (My drop spindle and Sally's booklet, are my winter project this year)
Oh - welcome, by the way!

Hello Jam-mam
The book 'Spin it' by Lee Raven is good, and there are usually some second hand on Amazon.
Glad you found this forum, the ladies are great I've only been a member for a couple of days myself.

Welcome from me too. Drop spindling is highly addictive and should carry a health warning!
Ask anyone here...

Thanks for the link natalie, and I have ordered the book Caire (will be 2 - 3 weeks) as usual I want everything now! So the online resource is a good place to start.
It's lovely to be beginning again, so little pressure to get it right straight away
