dyeing with pop

A customer at woolfest told me that it's possible to dye wool with cheap pop like limeade or cherryade. Just place the wool in a container, cover with the pop, cover with clingfilm (and pierce), then microwave for a few minutes. Then hey presto, the wool is dyed, frightening really what rubbish they put in those things. Not tried it yet, but i'm going to have a go with my kids over the holidays. I'll post the results afterwards.

Can you really? Well I never! I really think I am going to have to get a microwave - I've never had one of my own, although I've lived in rented houses with them and hardly used them for cooking, so I've never bothered here. Just goes to show what rubbish they put in food these days!

You can't dye your children, that's just cruel Shocked

I expect they deserve it sometimes! Anyway, they seem to spend all their own time trying to turn themselves different colours as far as I can see - at least it would make a change from dirt!
