I love to read about what other knitter, spinners, and fiber crafters are doing, and I'm always looking for information to help me make my next purchase: a spinning wheel. So far I've been using several models of drop spindles, but I just finished 4 spinning lessions, and I love it! I got to try a Kromski Prelude, a Schact-Reeves, and a Jensen (not sure of the model). I'm waiting for a Minstrel to arrive so I can try it. Anyway, enough from me. Smile

That sounds like an impressive selection. Which do you like best so far?

I'm working with a LYS here in Las Vegas. So far I like the Schact-Reeves the best, but it also seemed to be far the pickiest as far as adjustments. I did like the Kromski Prelude, but I think it might be too basic overall. The Jensen was beautiful, but it seemed to be set up left-handed or at least was awkward to use.
