If you work off the www.yarnwench.com site, it's a website and a blog.

Gorgeous yarns. I sometimes think I'd just want to frame the skein, and not actually use it for anything other than an art in itself.

Maybe some of these really unusual yarns would be better woven, than knitted, what do you think?

Yes, i agree the yarns at yarnwench are beautiful and would make great little art pieces in shadow boxes, so would yarn porns also. I think they would look great knitted and woven,maybe blocks of both i dont know much about weaving, have done a little on a textile course. I can visualize the yarn kniited into a bag with all those little trinkets on, think that would look great...erm the brown yarn thats on flickr..
I have got a small weaving loom. of sorts!
I may post a pic in the loom section if you promise not to laugh Laughing
Its good for scarfs. Wink
