Can anyone suggest someone who makes unique (even funky!) unsual dop spindles in the UK? Am looking for bottom whorl only, with quite a weighty whorl for chunky yarns...
It's my brithday in a month's time, and I need to give Tom some suggestions!
There are some amazing spindles available from the US, but would rather buy from a UK maker.... hand-carved or hand-painted considered!
Cheers! _________________ http://woollywormhead.blogspot.com

| Funnily enough, Gareth is working on some large oak ones even now. Let me know what you have in mind and I'll knock his lathe arm at the right moment, Typical prices between £5 and £15 depending on fancy-ness |
