Ashford Kiwi from Twist Fibre Craft Studio I should get it in approx two weeks, the supplier is on holiday till next week I went through today to have a shot but decided after trying the Kiwi that this was the one for me I had already had a shot of Natalies', many thanks again Natalie So I'm very happy
Just need to decide what colour to paint the wheel

probably very lumpy yarn no seriously I'm just going to spin with some of my large stash of rovings and see what develops. If it goes well I'll knit it up as a wee mat for my dressing table I'm hoping that by the end of 2007 I'll be fairly competant and spinning something that can be knitted into socks  |

Good luck with painting the wheel, it isn't that hard, but you have to do it "flat" and then mount it on the frame. I was so nervous of damaging the wheel (not the paint, that could be touched up), I ended up taking it back to Peter to get him to bash the pin in for me!

Decided just to varnish with clear matt varnish as recommended by Peter
I haven't done much spinning, yet, I've been busy finishing a shawl
