The Knitting and Stitching show was as fantastic as always with loads of new ideas and stalls including Habu from New York with some kind of paper/wool stuff - their stock was wonderful, really innovative and inspiring. Did anyone else get there over the weekend?

i was there, lucky enough to live in Harrogate, so i go every year. I spent loads of money at the button company, and managed to get some pure wool fabric to make some monkeys with ( Christmas presents). I was a bit disappointed with the exhibition stuff, there didn't seem as much as previous years. Did any one go to the fashion show? We missed it as we were too busy shopping.

I agree that the exhibition stuff didn't seem as inspiring as it has done in the past. But I always end up rushing passed there to the stalls anyway. I did think there were more students and younger girls there this year which is always a good sign. Keep the craft alive!

You know, I feel a bit the same, I would have had a bigger budget only I put unleaded petrol in the car instead of diesel the night before so I was £165.00 down anyway (and slightly humiliated) but now I wish I'd just gone for it and got all the things I need. Might have had to re mortgage though!
