I've decided to let one of my wheels go as it's geting ridiculous so the Country Spinner is on Ebay. It's absolutely ideal for making slubby thick and chunky yarns.

Oh wow, is it yours? I was salivating over it earlier Wink bur DH prolly won't let me bid on it cos I've just bought an extended lazy kate for my louet, mainly because it had 4 old style bobbins with it and they seem to be like rocking horse poo (and doing 3 plys with one of your singles in a pudding basin is a bit of a bind!)

Yeah - it does seem to be causing a bit of a stir judging by the amount of people watching it Very Happy It's a reluctant sale but I've just bought a new Louet folding one and I keep telling the kids that if they get new toys they have to get rid of some old ones to make room Laughing

Did it go well? I would have loved it, but himself insisted that I learnt to spin properly before I acquired another wheel. Harrumph - what does he know about fibre-addiction? Anyway, there are worse vices!

Yeah, it went well. It was bizarre that the woman who won it was just up the road and when she came to collect it I knew her! Cool Laughing
